well today i received some beautiful flowers from my sister just because she wanted to,i thought that was sweet, and then it got me thinking??? why has my husband NEVER given me flowers? i can only remember once or twice and those were when i knew about it or asked him for some, never %26quot;just because%26quot;so ladies tell me has your man ever given u a gift/flowers just because???
Have you ever been given flowers %26quot;just because%26quot;?
I am a Man answering your %26quot;Just Because%26quot;. I am 37 and I have always given flowers to women. I love the way it makes her feel, to see her eyes light up and put a big smile on her face! Roy Rogers once said; %26quot;Chivery is not dead, it%26#039;s just alittle ill right now!%26quot; Good Luck!
Reply:my babys dad gave me flowers for our 2nd date and my ex husband gave me roses 2 X while he was courting me - but both turend out to be losers after i marreid the hubby never got flowers again and the babys dad got me preg and dumped me.
Reply:I am a guy and I do it all the time. It%26#039;s part of being a prince.
Reply:Yes, sometimes they are on sale.
Reply:My ex boyfriend did all the time, he was super romantic. But now I%26#039;ve only received flowers once just because- very early in the relationship- and never since. I miss it...
Reply:How sweet. Girl. Tell your man that you would not mind him surprising you with flowers every now and then. Sometimes flowers don%26#039;t enter a man%26#039;s mind!
Reply:I know I am not a lady but I quite often will give or send flowers for no other reason then to remind a lady that i love her and appreciate all she does.

Reply:I personally like something that does%26#039;nt die!...How about a nice plant, a gift certificate for a massage!...Women love perfume and jewelery!...Make sure she is not allergic to scents or certain types of metal-by investigating if she wears silver or gold,do u notice perfume on her-if so be sneaky and see what type she wears and go for something similiar!...Note if her jewelery is small and dainty or flashy-some like small dainty pieces-not huge!...Take her to a store and tell her to pick out an outfit or dress-then take her to a romantic dinner!...Ask her friends or family what she likes or has been talking about that she wants1...Hope this helped!...
Reply:A stuffed animal. Doesn%26#039;t have to be a teddy bear, it just has to be cute. If she has a favourite animal (penguin, giraffe, cat etc.) that%26#039;d earn you some brownie points.
Mixed CD, totally lame and a bit cliche but lame and cliche can be cute. It shows you put thought and effort into it. Just don%26#039;t go too over the top with the songs.
Does she play any sports, is she in band, or a member of any clubs? If you could get her something involving a hobby of hers thats always good..it shows you pay attention to her interests. (ex. if she plays soccer, a stuffed animal in a little soccer uniform or holding a soccer ball, or holding an instrument that she plays)
Reply:Dark Chocolates and a nice card saying I love you, or however you feel. She will love it. Woman love simple things. After all, the littlest things make the biggest difference.
I just mailed my woman a TY Puppydog and a nice white tiger...with a poem in it, also a home made card with some pictures of us, she should be getting it tommorow. So....take that into account too.
Best of luck to you!
Reply:A nice chain and pendant would be appreciated by any woman. Maybe her birthstone hanging from a gold or silver chain, depending on your budget.
Reply:My boyfriend got me a heart shaped locket with our photos in it, it was sweet. But considering its tomorrow get her some ballons!
Reply:teddy bear (if shes that kind of girl)
chocolates
sock puppets if she hates cliches
Reply:Stuffed toys
Reply:Heartshaped chocolate cake. and put a necklace on the middle top of it....

How to arrange flowers in a gift box?
i wish to buy fresh flowers and arrange them into a gift box ( with cover ). what are the materials needed?
do i use floral foam as the base?
anywhere i can find a guide on this?
How to arrange flowers in a gift box?
Will the flowers be standing upright or lying down?
If you want to arrange them in an upright position, you will need floral foam and you may want to buy some floral wire, especially if you have flowers that tend to droop like gerbera daisies or tulips. The floral foam should be soaked in water and placed in a water proof base.
If you want to lie the flowers down around something, you can buy special test tubes with caps for each flower. These are then filled with water. Your best bet? Go to any flower shop and throw yourself on their mercy. They%26#039;ll have everything you need to make your gift box memorable.
The supplies you need aren%26#039;t expensive and can even be purchased at craft stores. Just be sure you get the right kind of foam for fresh flowers. Don%26#039;t confuse floral foam with the green styrofoam they use for silk or dried flower arrangements!
Good luck!

Do most women receive flowers AND another gift for their birthdays from their husbands?
Just wondering what is more common... do women receive flowers only or flowers and another gift from their husbands/boyfriends on their birthdays? Men... what do you normally give?
Do most women receive flowers AND another gift for their birthdays from their husbands?
On our anniversary, her birthday, and Valentine%26#039;s day, she gets flowers, a card, and a gift.
On Mother%26#039;s day, she gets a card and flowers.
Honest.
We men are all still waiting for you girls to celebrate March 14. (See below.) Hee Hee!
Reply:In the past I would remember from during the year what she liked
and give that as a gift, with a card %26amp; dinner.
Plus chase her around the bedroom.
Reply:NORMALLY, I would take my woman out for a real nice dinner, at that time I have a florist deliver a bouquet of flowers(not roses) as they are way to over used, then I have certificate for her to use at a massage parlor (while I wait) then home were I have dessert waiting for her. (usually something chocolate that I made myself) Then after all is well and done, I draw her a warm bath, with her favorite bath solution(usually from Lush). After she is all dried off and in her favorite (NEW) silk bathrobe, I go down on her for at least 20 min(takes only two minutes for her to experience true pleasure) and than I let her go to sleep.
Reply:i am lucky if my husband remembers a card. i dont need gifts. i love flowers. but i usually get one or the other gift or flowers.
Reply:ha..it would be nice if mine would just %26quot;remember%26quot; and acknowledge it verbally. i guess i am simple. to get flower and/or a gift-i would probably die, literally!! (then he wouldn%26#039;t have to worry about my birthday anymore, know would he?) but, i aint dying soon because he will never remember anyways.
Reply:I guess it depends on what kind of relationship you are in. All I got for Valentines day was a rose, and it was the best gift to me.
Reply:both if they are smart...
Reply:I%26#039;ve been married long enough now... she doesn%26#039;t want that... she wants stuff like filing cabinets and scrapbooking supplies and stuff like that....
Reply:I always get flowers or something on my birthday, now on valentines day that%26#039;s a different story, but men are a little clueless, you have to tell them what you want sometimes. It would be nice to think that they just thought of you and were sensitive like that, but a lot of men just aren%26#039;t. It doesn%26#039;t mean that they don%26#039;t love you, they just don%26#039;t think that way.
Reply:My birthday is on Valentines Day. I am lucky if I get flowers and another gift. I figure they are 2 days in 1 and should both be celebrated. We have argued this many times. I am lucky if he takes the initiative to think of a gift for me.
Reply:I give gifts, and some sort of nice experience (like a play, going out to eat, short vacation, b-day party).
Reply:i think most of them would receive flowers ONLY. i think men would just pick the easiest gift on the planet.. they%26#039;re too lazy to think about what their women truly want/need .
Reply:I don%26#039;t think that most women receive flowers or two gifts. I think that it depends on the man and the woman.
It is quite a gift to just have a man remember and do anything particularly special for his woman.
More often than not my male interests have taken me out to dinner for my birthday. Some have given a card or flowers particularly if they are the mushy sort.
If I had to pick the most thoughtful things a man has done, it has been knowing exactly what I would like the most. Often times it isn%26#039;t a gift. I think it is the thoughtfulness that matters the most.
Reply:flowers die,but you can always do something with the other gift.
Reply:Yes, I%26#039;m always getting both. For me, flowers only are for colleagues and not so close friends
Reply:Flowers, cards, dinner out and many gifts. My husband treats me well.
Reply:I am lucky if my husband even remembers my birthday!! But flowers are nice! Some men are sweet and do things for their wives but then you have the ones who don%26#039;t remember their own names....lol!!
Reply:Depends on the girl. I know my wife likes flowers and lots of other stuff.
Reply:I usually get flowers dinner and jewelry for my birthday from my husband.I%26#039;m not materialistic and I don%26#039;t demand anything at all but he treats me very well to celebrate my life.But then again he gets me flowers about every other week too!! I guess this should make up for the times he%26#039;s %26quot;less than perfect%26quot;
Reply:I get flowers, many gifts, dinner and cake.
Reply:I like to give roses. When I proposed, I had put a ring inside a red rose and hid the rose and had my ex wife look for it. It was really cool the way it all fell into place. But it really sucked the way we fell apart!
Reply:warm hugs
Reply:Flowers are nice, but taking her out for dinner with just the two of you is nicer and flowers and dinner is nicest
Reply:of course I usually give my wife flowers and a gift.

Every Tueday morning i walk to my local cemetery and leave flowers and gifts for the dead. There are severals grave sites that I visit regularly and have a connection to. I was just wondering what sort of gifts you would leave? Or possibly something that maybe I could leave.

This is a serious question that I would like thoughtful and serious answers for.
