Have you ever been given flowers "just because"?

well today i received some beautiful flowers from my sister just because she wanted to,i thought that was sweet, and then it got me thinking??? why has my husband NEVER given me flowers? i can only remember once or twice and those were when i knew about it or asked him for some, never %26quot;just because%26quot;so ladies tell me has your man ever given u a gift/flowers just because???

Have you ever been given flowers %26quot;just because%26quot;?
I am a Man answering your %26quot;Just Because%26quot;. I am 37 and I have always given flowers to women. I love the way it makes her feel, to see her eyes light up and put a big smile on her face! Roy Rogers once said; %26quot;Chivery is not dead, it%26#039;s just alittle ill right now!%26quot; Good Luck!
Reply:my babys dad gave me flowers for our 2nd date and my ex husband gave me roses 2 X while he was courting me - but both turend out to be losers after i marreid the hubby never got flowers again and the babys dad got me preg and dumped me.
Reply:I am a guy and I do it all the time. It%26#039;s part of being a prince.
Reply:Yes, sometimes they are on sale.
Reply:My ex boyfriend did all the time, he was super romantic. But now I%26#039;ve only received flowers once just because- very early in the relationship- and never since. I miss it...
Reply:How sweet. Girl. Tell your man that you would not mind him surprising you with flowers every now and then. Sometimes flowers don%26#039;t enter a man%26#039;s mind!
Reply:I know I am not a lady but I quite often will give or send flowers for no other reason then to remind a lady that i love her and appreciate all she does.

What is the best alternative for flowers as a gift?

my crush doesnt like flowers, so what do you think is the best alternative gift for her? pls help me, it%26#039;s her bday tommorow.. thanks! :)

What is the best alternative for flowers as a gift?
cool stuff
Reply:I personally like something that does%26#039;nt die!...How about a nice plant, a gift certificate for a massage!...Women love perfume and jewelery!...Make sure she is not allergic to scents or certain types of metal-by investigating if she wears silver or gold,do u notice perfume on her-if so be sneaky and see what type she wears and go for something similiar!...Note if her jewelery is small and dainty or flashy-some like small dainty pieces-not huge!...Take her to a store and tell her to pick out an outfit or dress-then take her to a romantic dinner!...Ask her friends or family what she likes or has been talking about that she wants1...Hope this helped!...
Reply:A stuffed animal. Doesn%26#039;t have to be a teddy bear, it just has to be cute. If she has a favourite animal (penguin, giraffe, cat etc.) that%26#039;d earn you some brownie points.

Mixed CD, totally lame and a bit cliche but lame and cliche can be cute. It shows you put thought and effort into it. Just don%26#039;t go too over the top with the songs.

Does she play any sports, is she in band, or a member of any clubs? If you could get her something involving a hobby of hers thats always good..it shows you pay attention to her interests. (ex. if she plays soccer, a stuffed animal in a little soccer uniform or holding a soccer ball, or holding an instrument that she plays)
Reply:Dark Chocolates and a nice card saying I love you, or however you feel. She will love it. Woman love simple things. After all, the littlest things make the biggest difference.

I just mailed my woman a TY Puppydog and a nice white tiger...with a poem in it, also a home made card with some pictures of us, she should be getting it tommorow. So....take that into account too.

Best of luck to you!
Reply:A nice chain and pendant would be appreciated by any woman. Maybe her birthstone hanging from a gold or silver chain, depending on your budget.

How to arrange flowers in a gift box?

i wish to buy fresh flowers and arrange them into a gift box ( with cover ). what are the materials needed?

do i use floral foam as the base?

anywhere i can find a guide on this?

How to arrange flowers in a gift box?
Will the flowers be standing upright or lying down?

If you want to arrange them in an upright position, you will need floral foam and you may want to buy some floral wire, especially if you have flowers that tend to droop like gerbera daisies or tulips. The floral foam should be soaked in water and placed in a water proof base.

If you want to lie the flowers down around something, you can buy special test tubes with caps for each flower. These are then filled with water. Your best bet? Go to any flower shop and throw yourself on their mercy. They%26#039;ll have everything you need to make your gift box memorable.

The supplies you need aren%26#039;t expensive and can even be purchased at craft stores. Just be sure you get the right kind of foam for fresh flowers. Don%26#039;t confuse floral foam with the green styrofoam they use for silk or dried flower arrangements!

Good luck!

Do most women receive flowers AND another gift for their birthdays from their husbands?

Just wondering what is more common... do women receive flowers only or flowers and another gift from their husbands/boyfriends on their birthdays? Men... what do you normally give?

Do most women receive flowers AND another gift for their birthdays from their husbands?
On our anniversary, her birthday, and Valentine%26#039;s day, she gets flowers, a card, and a gift.

On Mother%26#039;s day, she gets a card and flowers.

Honest.

We men are all still waiting for you girls to celebrate March 14. (See below.) Hee Hee!
Reply:In the past I would remember from during the year what she liked

and give that as a gift, with a card %26amp; dinner.

Plus chase her around the bedroom.
Reply:NORMALLY, I would take my woman out for a real nice dinner, at that time I have a florist deliver a bouquet of flowers(not roses) as they are way to over used, then I have certificate for her to use at a massage parlor (while I wait) then home were I have dessert waiting for her. (usually something chocolate that I made myself) Then after all is well and done, I draw her a warm bath, with her favorite bath solution(usually from Lush). After she is all dried off and in her favorite (NEW) silk bathrobe, I go down on her for at least 20 min(takes only two minutes for her to experience true pleasure) and than I let her go to sleep.
Reply:i am lucky if my husband remembers a card. i dont need gifts. i love flowers. but i usually get one or the other gift or flowers.
Reply:ha..it would be nice if mine would just %26quot;remember%26quot; and acknowledge it verbally. i guess i am simple. to get flower and/or a gift-i would probably die, literally!! (then he wouldn%26#039;t have to worry about my birthday anymore, know would he?) but, i aint dying soon because he will never remember anyways.
Reply:I guess it depends on what kind of relationship you are in. All I got for Valentines day was a rose, and it was the best gift to me.
Reply:both if they are smart...
Reply:I%26#039;ve been married long enough now... she doesn%26#039;t want that... she wants stuff like filing cabinets and scrapbooking supplies and stuff like that....
Reply:I always get flowers or something on my birthday, now on valentines day that%26#039;s a different story, but men are a little clueless, you have to tell them what you want sometimes. It would be nice to think that they just thought of you and were sensitive like that, but a lot of men just aren%26#039;t. It doesn%26#039;t mean that they don%26#039;t love you, they just don%26#039;t think that way.
Reply:My birthday is on Valentines Day. I am lucky if I get flowers and another gift. I figure they are 2 days in 1 and should both be celebrated. We have argued this many times. I am lucky if he takes the initiative to think of a gift for me.
Reply:I give gifts, and some sort of nice experience (like a play, going out to eat, short vacation, b-day party).
Reply:i think most of them would receive flowers ONLY. i think men would just pick the easiest gift on the planet.. they%26#039;re too lazy to think about what their women truly want/need .
Reply:I don%26#039;t think that most women receive flowers or two gifts. I think that it depends on the man and the woman.

It is quite a gift to just have a man remember and do anything particularly special for his woman.

More often than not my male interests have taken me out to dinner for my birthday. Some have given a card or flowers particularly if they are the mushy sort.

If I had to pick the most thoughtful things a man has done, it has been knowing exactly what I would like the most. Often times it isn%26#039;t a gift. I think it is the thoughtfulness that matters the most.
Reply:flowers die,but you can always do something with the other gift.
Reply:Yes, I%26#039;m always getting both. For me, flowers only are for colleagues and not so close friends
Reply:Flowers, cards, dinner out and many gifts. My husband treats me well.
Reply:I am lucky if my husband even remembers my birthday!! But flowers are nice! Some men are sweet and do things for their wives but then you have the ones who don%26#039;t remember their own names....lol!!
Reply:Depends on the girl. I know my wife likes flowers and lots of other stuff.
Reply:I usually get flowers dinner and jewelry for my birthday from my husband.I%26#039;m not materialistic and I don%26#039;t demand anything at all but he treats me very well to celebrate my life.But then again he gets me flowers about every other week too!! I guess this should make up for the times he%26#039;s %26quot;less than perfect%26quot;
Reply:I get flowers, many gifts, dinner and cake.
Reply:I like to give roses. When I proposed, I had put a ring inside a red rose and hid the rose and had my ex wife look for it. It was really cool the way it all fell into place. But it really sucked the way we fell apart!
Reply:warm hugs
Reply:Flowers are nice, but taking her out for dinner with just the two of you is nicer and flowers and dinner is nicest
Reply:of course I usually give my wife flowers and a gift.

poetry or depending on age and what kind of past you imagine they have leave little trinkets say they are really young then leave them a little toy or stuffed animal, and flowers are always good look up the meaning of different flowers and depending on your connection leave what you feel
Reply:well in mexico when we have our %26quot;day of the dead%26quot;, we bring our dead family member%26#039;s favorite food dish. we cook it for them and bring it with us to their grave and spend the night there with other family members....but we end up eating it...we also bring them yellow goldenrod-ish colored flowers. they have a name, i just dont%26#039; know waht they%26#039;re called.

hope it helps.
Reply:I search every state I pass thru for all sorts of rocks...... When I go to any of my family members graves - Believe it or not, I leave my special rocks..... I%26#039;ll sometimes even dig a hole, place a note in it and I always leave it with a rock. . . .
Reply:I think the best gift is never to forget them.
Reply:Why do you seek the living amongst the dead they no nothing......
Reply:I have seen teddy bears and toys on children%26#039;s graves. One woman I know, lost her daughter when the little girl was six. Every year on the child%26#039;s %26quot;birthday%26quot; she puts a small gift, like a doll or something on her grave. It helps the mom, I believe.
Reply:Spirits feel the greatest gift of all is communication. Just talk them, tell them about your day, your plans in the near future

and fond memories you have of them. The deceased aren%26#039;t bound to physical objects like the living are.
Reply:Hi! I lost a dear friend in April. She loved candy, especially chocolate.Whenever she%26#039;d come over, I feed her something healthy and the minute I turned my back, she%26#039;d be looking for something sweet.I bought some good chocolate especially for her and keep it in an abalone shell. She was in a terrible accident (not her fault) and passed away before she could eat any of it.

I often leave her chocolate now.Spirits are able to enjoy the spiritual aspect of foods they once enjoyed and while the food, physically would be untouched, rest assuring they loved every moment of their indulgence.It%26#039;s best to do this at your home.Just call them. They are ONE with SPIRIT and can be anywhere at any given time.Hindus partake in this ritual.I%26#039;ve been witnessed to many, many of them and know first hand that they enjoy the love behind the offering.Your loved ones are where ever you are.Their love will always follow you, no matter where you go.You need not go to the cemetery to visit or give them love/gifts. Take care.
Reply:They are dead... gone... adios... bye bye, Why leave gifts for them? Flowers and stuff is to remind people to remember then for some reason.
Reply:why wasting your time and money on dead ones? There are a lot of living people that are in need...............
Reply:They are dead. Rotted away and eaten by worms. If you WANT to give then give to the living. Those living in poverty and fear.
Reply:Flowers or a beer for the homeys.
Reply:i dont know one in specific, but probly something small that person valued that would mean to...well him/her....i ope that helped alittle

Valentine's day, flowers to boyfriend's mom...?

Sending flowers in the Phils ?

I have a friend who lives in Quezon City and I want to surprise her with flowers on her birthday in September. I noticed on the Manila Times website that there are different companies like %26quot;Mahal Gift%26quot; and %26quot;Gifts2Pinas%26quot; that deliver flowers and gifts to places around Metro Manila. Can I trust sending flowers by one of these companies ?? Just because I live in Canada, but I want her to have a nice surprise on her B-Day. What do you think ??? I don%26#039;t to use this company if there products are in bad condition or stuff like that.

Sending flowers in the Phils ?
My overseas friends use PinasGift.com all the time, you can definitely trust them. I%26#039;ve received quite a number of gifts purchased from their website. Here is their website:
Reply:Consider a mixed bouquet of daisies, lilies and wild flowers. This mixed bouquet is appropriate no matter what the occasion. Perfect for the %26quot;New%26quot; relationships. It simply lets that special someone know that you are thinking of them. A local florist can deliver the flowers to your recipient with a message card.

Someone need a pick me up-

A basket of Flowers or a flowering plant with a teddy bear is just the right touch to brighten someone%26#039;s day! Perfect for someone who is having a bad day or doesn%26#039;t feel well.

True Love-

Roses can represent many things. Red Roses have been long known for their association with LOVE. But don%26#039;t feel confined to just red! If you know she likes pink, then send her 1 dozen pink roses. For special occasions, such as Birthday, Valentine%26#039;s Day or Anniversary, make more of an impression by sending a spectacular 2 or 3 dozen roses in a vase. To be unique, send 2 or 3 dozen of a more rare flower, like calla lilies:) WOW! Add balloons and a bear for a real surprise!

When in doubt?

Ask the florist. They are the experts! Tell the florist what kind of personality your recipient has. Maybe even what colors they like. With your sentiment in mind, they can recommend the perfect arrangement. Read more tips : http://online-articles.org/relationships...

Include a Message?

Always include a message with your flowers. Even if it is simply, %26quot;From, John%26quot; or %26quot;Love, Phil %26quot;. It can be very frustrating to some people to receive a gift without knowledge of who sent it. Simple sentiments like?.. %26quot;Just wanted you to know I am thinking about you today%26quot; or %26quot; Thank you for being you%26quot; are appropriate. Of course, If the gift is being sent for a particular occasion, mention that. For example, %26quot;Happy Birthday to a Beautiful Woman- With Love, John %26quot;. Perfect! Simple and Sweet!

Add something special-

Florists often have many things that can be added to your floral arrangement to make it extra special. Plush Animals, Mylar and Latex Balloons and Chocolates are just a few of the items that can compliment your floral gift!

Timing-

Remember to order early before busy holidays, especially Valentine%26#039;s Day! Most florists suggest ordering a week before if possible. This will ensure a better selection of flowers and timely delivery to your recipient.

Finally,

Don%26#039;t order your flowers through a call center! These companies charge you a fee to process your order. Even if they tell you that they don%26#039;t charge you fees, they will absorb a portion of your money, and then pass the order on to a local florist at a decreased value! Make sure you order your floral gift directly from a real local florist in the town you are sending them to. No Middleman, No Extra Fees! This will ensure that you get the best value %26amp; service! Your floral gift will be beautifully designed for presentation. Very impressive! Read more tips : http://online-articles.org/relationships...
Reply:try filgifts.com and myAyala.com. give them a call if your indoubt..
Reply:I suggest that you check with your local florist in Canada. Usually florists have some international organization, I forgot the name, in sending flowers worldwide...instead of going through those cheap advertised flower shops....Price may be steep but the quality of the flowers and the arrangement are good..not to mention the delivery. There are several flower shops here in the Philippines that are member of that florist organization like Beecheaves, Holland Tulips, Rustan%26#039;s Flower Shop, etc. Hope it helps and good luck...
Reply:http://www.filipinaflowers.com/

http://www.phgifts.com

and many more
Reply:There is always risk but i suggest that you ask for photos of actual flowers delivered and a picture of your friend accepting the flower. I got one friend who used to deliver flowers in the Philippines being order from various countries and she does take pictures to prove the delivery.

Girls...what does a gift of flowers mean to you?

As a guy, a gift of flowers would mean absolutely nothing to me...what does it mean to you?

Girls...what does a gift of flowers mean to you?
A gift of flowers are a nice gesture. People say flowers are a waste of money, but it is not about money. It is just an act of kindness, like smiling or waving at someone. I think people that think flowers are worthless or a waste of money have obviously never received flowers before. Remember you do not have to give like a $50 bouquet, just something nice for a happy occasion.

Important note, NEVER ever give someone fake flowers that is just tacky!!! My grandma told me if a guy gives you fake flowers then it means his feelings for you are fake. A guy that claimed he liked me %26quot;emotionally%26quot;, although I always knew he was only physically attracted to me, gave me fake flowers and I knew immediately I was right.
Reply:yaya...I thought your comment was cute and funny. But does a gift of flowers really signify the guy is boring? Doesn%26#039;t it depend on the guy? Report It

Reply:I%26#039;ve never received flowers from a man :( lol

but when i%26#039;ve received flowers from friends or family for a birthday or for no reason...it means that somenone is thinking about me...and that they didn%26#039;t have to get anything at all for me, but there was some thought and heart put into the gift.
Reply:Alot! It means that you are at least thinking of her.
Reply:hmmm, overall it is sweet and wonderful, but each flower sends a different message.

single rose= sweet and romantic

12 roses= love, passionate romance (color is factor)

Daisy%26#039;s=playful

orchids= long lasting love

ect....

Also learn what your girl like, I love yellow roses so that would be more romantic and appreciated than carnations for me.
Reply:Well since I haven%26#039;t really gotten any as gifts

It would mean that the guy cares enough about me to

consider getting me a little something

It would tell me that he is a bit serious about me

and he isn%26#039;t cheap or afraid to show it.

:)
Reply:that you did something bad, or that you are boring. They dont do anything for me either.
Reply:It would mean pollen grains in my face and a massive sinus problem,

but if you talk about chocolates, then its a whole different ballgame!!
Reply:depends on the gift

but flowers i think it means he likes me
Reply:That the guy is into me...
Reply:depends what kind and what color...if they%26#039;re my favorite kind, then i know the guy really pays attention to what i like and so is a great guy...if they%26#039;re something out of place then it%26#039;s worthless, like once i met this guy for the first time and he got me a dozen red roses...now red roses signify serious, deep love and that certainly was not the case, so that was actually a big turnoff for me
Reply:Contempt for the man sending them, usually.

This is something a man should not have to do and it%26#039;s most often the wrong way to try to win over a woman.

Yaya confirms this, below.
Reply:It means he%26#039;s thoughtful %26amp; he%26#039;s thinking of me.

He never does it tho....he buys me jewelry instead - which is also good. ;)
Reply:It depends on who give me the flowers. If its from a guy friends, then it simply means friendship...if its from someone courting me then it means something. Remember this %26amp; you can even ask your guy friends, giving flower to girl really means something.

I dont have time to make anything or enough money for jewlrey. I was thinking about taking her out to a nice dinner, but i need something else, ya know?

Ideas for Mother%26#039;s Day/ College Grad gifts.?
Here%26#039;s something creative that will be appreciated and you will have fun doing:

Make up a crossword puzzle and have all the hints be personal inside moments and jokes that only you two would know about. Put it on a poster board and add some clipart and some pictures to it!

The crossword puzzle could be time consuming and a bit frustrating ... you could do the same idea with a WORDSEARCH or WORDFIND puzzle.

Put your computer skills to work! Use Excel, get clipart from Yahoo Images Search, copy them, and reformat them, use a gluestick to put on posterboard.

Use graph paper, and pictures from magazines if you are not as good on the computer, and it will give it a homemade feeling.

This is a really beautiful poem too!

Women have strengths that amaze us.

They carry children, they carry hardships, they carry burdens but they hold happiness, love and joy.

They smile when they want to scream.

They sing when they want to cry.

They cry when they are happy and laugh when they are nervous.

They fight for what they believe in.

They stand up for injustice.

They don%26#039;t take %26quot;no%26quot; for an answer when they believe there is a better solution.

They go without new shoes so their children can have them.

They go to the doctor with a frightened friend.

They love unconditionally.

They cry when their children excel and cheer when their friends get awards.

They are happy when they hear about a birth or a new marriage. Their hearts break when a friend dies.

They have sorrow at the loss of a family member, yet they are strong when they think there is no strength left.

They know that a hug and a kiss can heal a broken heart.

Women come in all sizes, in all colors and shapes.

They%26#039;ll drive, fly, walk, run or e-mail you to show how much they care about you.

The heart of a woman is what makes the world spin!

Women do more than just give birth.

They bring joy and hope.

They give compassion and ideals.

They give moral support to their family and friends.

Women have a lot to say and a lot to give.

Where can i buy inexpensive flowers online from the us and have them shipped to the uk?

i%26#039;m looking to purchse a get well gift, flowers, balloons, a bear, for a friend over in london...a man in his 20s. i live in the united states. where can i purchase something like this? like a website? i%26#039;ve tried 1800 flowers and all of their packages that can be shipped to his area are quite pricey and very feminine looking. i%26#039;m looking to spend less than 30 dollars for the actual price of the product. maybe a little more if it%26#039;s all that i can find. and more for shipping of course. i also need it guranteed for delivery next week on a specific day. any suggestions? or any suggestions for DIFFERENT get well gifts that can be sent here? thank you so much!

Where can i buy inexpensive flowers online from the us and have them shipped to the uk?
In the UK there is a service called interfora which arranges for a local florist to make up the order and deliver it.
Reply:You will be better off using an online florist based in the UK.
Reply:It%26#039;s actually cheaper (than using Interflora etc) if you know whereabouts he is in the UK and have a look for florist shops close to him that accept c/c.

Cuts down on costs heaps, you can always ask if they have a website where you can pick the arrangement you want as well.

Flower Girl Gifts?

I have 6-7 girls in my wedding as flower girls in my wedding ranging from 2 1/2 - 6 years old. I also have 2 ring bearers, one boy (6) and one girl (6) and two girls who are playing %26quot;host%26quot; at the reception that are 12 and 9. I%26#039;m looking for gift ideas that are equal and fair, but fitting. I don%26#039;t think I can get them all the same thing because of the interest range.

Are Toys R Us or Target gift cards a horrible idea??

Any ideas are appreciated

Flower Girl Gifts?
My daughter went to a shop that does monogramming.. She had them do baseball tees with ring bearer or flower girl on the front %26amp; their name on the back.. The girls were done in white with pink sleeves with pink writing %26amp; the boys were done in white with navy sleeves %26amp; writing.... The kids loved them.

To add something else... Here%26#039;s an idea that we%26#039;re doing for my youngest daughter%26#039;s wedding.. We%26#039;re setting up a table geared just for children... I have found some wedding pictures to color online %26amp; I%26#039;m printing them out to make coloring books. For the older kids, you can also find wedding word searches or make your own. It has been suggested to me to cover the table with a white sheet %26amp; let the kids write or color what they want. Then after the wedding, I can make a quilt of the kids drawings to give to the couple... This is a good way to occupy little ones while mom %26amp; dad enjoy the wedding..
Reply:I would get them something they can play with at the reception. Receptions can be tedious for kids, and their parents and you will be grateful if they have something to entertain themselves with. How about hand-held games (Leapfrog makes educational electronic games, also there are electronic versions of Battleship, Tetris, that kind of thing)? I%26#039;ve seen these at Target. Coloring books and crayons and stickers for the smaller ones?
Reply:Gift cards are the best..let them choose what they want as opposed to you giving them something they either have or will toss aside.
Reply:I love to give movie rental gift certificates as gifts. It works for all ages. The youngest ones might like a toy better because they do not understand the value of a gift card.
Reply:I%26#039;m getting my flower girl a bridal barbie - I think this idea is adorable!
Reply:I don%26#039;t know what kind of budget you are working with, but my fiance and I are taking our flower girls and ring bearer to Build-A-Bear. It can be expensive, but kids love it.
Reply:Mayby for the little one%26#039;s toys r%26#039;us to be honest i dont know. A giftcard from somewhere is the best idea.
Reply:Go to http://www.exclusivelyweddings.com/dynam...

I got my stuff there. I got the ring bearer ( who was 3) a train bank with his name engraved on the top. They also have footballs, soccar balls, tractors. All different kinds of %26quot;piggy%26quot; banks for kids and you can get their names engraved in them. I think the train was 15 bucks.

For the flowergirls, go to the same site, I got them the silver brush and mirror set with their initial engraved in the back of the mirror. Very classic, very pretty. For the older girls, you can get them a tote bag with their names or initial on them. Something they can use when they go spend the night at a friends house.
Reply:For the little ones, build-a-bear gift certificates and for the older ones, movie ticket gift certificates. That way, the gifts are age appropriate and the build a bear they can make to be anything they want. You could even pre-purchase little wedding dresses and tuxedos for the finished products.
Reply:My brother was a ring bearer in a wedding and he received a pillow with a fake ring on it. I thought it was a cute idea. This could be a gift for the ring bearers. For the hosts you could give them like a little stationary set. Also for the flower girls for the younger ones just pick out a cute toy and for the older ones a cute basket with some fake flowers in it. (But if you don%26#039;t want to give actual gifts like I suggested I think that a gift card would also be a good idea) Hope this helps!
Reply:Wow! That%26#039;s a LOT of kids! You don%26#039;t think maybe you%26#039;re over-doing it just a little? I mean, that%26#039;s just my opinion. I%26#039;m not trying to offend you or anything, I promise! It%26#039;s just that.... 6 or 7 flowergirls! OMG!

To answer your question, I%26#039;d suggest a giftcard to Target or Wal-Mart over Toys R Us. There%26#039;s more of a selection when it comes to the %26quot;older%26quot; kids.

Good luck!
Reply:Gift cards for all the kids that are over 5 as for the rest ask their parents what they may want or need.
Reply:I know that my friend got all the girls in her wedding party (About 6, all under than age of 9) necklaces. She got the charms from Piercing Pagoda when they had a sale going on. I believe they were sliver disney pricess (Don%26#039;t know which on) charm. They had only two boys, which they gave a watch to.

Flower girl gifts?

my flower girl is a year old.. i need an age appropriete gift to give her...also my little brother is walking her down the isle he is 16 what would be a good gift for him

Flower girl gifts?
For the flower girl: Any cute stuffed animal would be great! Or, maybe a cute little outfit?

Little Bro: How about a VISA gift card that he can spend anywhere he wants? 16 year olds are so hard to buy for.
Reply:For the flower girl I would say a nice pair of earrings ... !

As for your younger brother, at 16 I would say all they think about is video games, so perhaps a $25 gift card to a gaming store, or if you want to keep it simpler, just give him a nice set of cuff links to match his tux!!
Reply:buy him some tickets to whatever he wanna watch....
Reply:Do you know anyone who sews? It would be really cute if you could get her a doll, and have someone make a dress for the doll that looks like the dress she%26#039;ll wear. Or maybe a teddy bear with the same thing. If you have a Build a Bear Workshop in your area, make a special bear for her. If you don%26#039;t know anyone who can make a dress, you could just buy a Build a Bear wedding dress.

Is your brother into sports? My son in law got Louisville Slugger bats for all his groomsmen, because they were all big baseball fans (Sox/Cubs rivalries abound in this family). I think he got their names engraved on them, but I can%26#039;t remember now. If he%26#039;s not into sports, you could get him a nice leather iPod case or CD case and monogram his initials or name on it. We did this for my stepsons when they stood up for us at our wedding.
Reply:For a year old? I would go with a cloth purse with her initials on it? Maybe stick a stuffed animal in there for her. They also have cute flower girl shirts at Davids Bridal. Just in case you wanted to go that direction.

For the 16 year old.......i dunno. They are hard to please, perhaps a gift card?
Reply:for THE BABY, baby bracelet or the barbie bride and groom dolls, for your brother a visa gift card or tickets to sport game or concert . Good Luck
Reply:my flower girl is 2 years old and im buying her a bridal barbie...its actually a collectors doll so she can either play with it or her mom(my sister) can put it away and save it for her...for a 16 year old im pretty lost...maybe a gift certificate or tickets to a baseball game or any sporting event
Reply:Our flower girl will also be one year old for our wedding. We decided to actually buy her dress as the gift. Her mother and father are standing up in our wedding as well, so we thought that was a great way to help them out since she has to buy a dress and he has to rent the suit. Plus she is being pulled down the aisle in a Radio Flyer wagon by our 4 year old ring bearer. We are also purchasing that and she gets to keep it! Just an idea for you!
Reply:What I have seen in many wedding catalogs recently is monogramed totes with the childs name on it..get one of those and fill it will age appropriate toys for her. The tote would be about $15-30, they are usually canvas trimmed in pink or such and fill it with toddler toys. Cute and it has her name on it, so she would probably use it for grandmas, childcare or so on in the future. Congrats.
Reply:For a one year old, anything you give her will actually have little meaning now. She is way to young to understand. The bridal Babie would be a great idea if she were just a wee bit older, but one is a bit too young. Buying the dress is more a gift to the parents, not her. A doll with a matching dress is a very cute idea, but again. The meaning will likely be lost on her and by the time it is meaningful, she won%26#039;t remember being a flower girl.

What I would do is give her an album, then fill it with pictures later. Or better yet, order her an album form photo blurb.com

http://www.blurb.com/ you can order a 7x7 hard cover album for 24.00, 12.00 for soft cover. Once you get your wedding photos, create a memory book for her to have when she is older. She will LOVE it when she gets just a little older.

I would probably also give her someting she can play with at the reception to keep her occupied- Little People are very good for 1 y.o. girls - http://www.fisher-price.com/fp.aspx?st=2... or LeapPad Leap Touch, http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp... Playtown Princess http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp... or anything else that you would give a 1 y.o. as a birthday/Christmas present.
Reply:if the flower girl likes princesses probably a tiara or something princessy
Reply:A picture of you and her in a frame for when she gets older
Reply:Go to one of those build a bear workshops and make her a special teddy bear. For your brother, a gift card to his favorite store in the mall that way he can pick out exactly want he wants.
Reply:How about a precious moment. They have soft dolls that would be perfect for a one year old. you could even order it so the doll is wearing the same type of dress as the flower girl. www.preciousmoments.com

What's an alternative for fresh flowers for valentines?

Im planning to give the girl that i like the %26#039;traditional%26#039; flower gift for valentines this year.. i have given her a couple of bouquets on her birthday, etc. but i think its too much cliche if i would give her another flowers that%26#039;s gonna die anyway. ANy suggestions on an alternative thats not too cliche? i was planning to give her a flower made of glass so it wont die, but i think its too lame. So any suggestions would be greatly apprecitaed! thanks!!!

What%26#039;s an alternative for fresh flowers for valentines?
glass is wonderful! my hubby bought me a giant plastic sunflower for mothers day! I wanted to strangle him! but a delicate glass flower with something like %26quot;made of precious glass so fragile like you, yet strong and undying like my affection for you%26quot; add that to a card or get one of those empty ones you write in yourself you have got it made! yeah it will win her heart! You go with your original idea! Balloons ar second to flowers!
Reply:that is such a cute idea. do it! maybe on her card say something cute about how the flower will never die. your awesome!

Reply:If you really want to give her flowers do what my husband does. My husband refuses to buy me cut flowers because they die. He buys me potted flowers so I can plant them afterwards.
Reply:first, stop giving her flowers for every little thing... make a reservation at a really nice ROMANTIC restaurant... Even if you can%26#039;t afford much, make sure it%26#039;s romantic -- maybe even give her a CHOCOLATE rose when they seat you.... chocolate roses have just the rose eatable, not the whole thing A cafe out doors if the weather is mild would be nice... if indoors, pull her chair out to seat her... do gentlemen things like that. treat her like a real lady, etc. That%26#039;s MUCH better than flowers.

Hmmmm...

Here%26#039;s a few ideas.

- a magazine subscription to something she has an interest in. Lots of choices at http://magazines.homemade-success.com

- a personalized gift from Gifts for You Now

http://giftsforyou.homemade-success.com

- a coffee or tea package from Joffreys

http://joffreyscoffee.homemade-success.c...

- yes, candy, but with a twist; like a chocolate candy bar card

http://www.chocolate-candy-mall.com/choc...

- a special love note from PassionUp

Hope that helps...
Reply:jewlery or gucci purse u can get at ioffer.com
Reply:gift certificate to a spa. women love pedicures.
Reply:a pretty bracelet; a nice picture frame (maybe she%26#039;ll put your pic in it!), a new racket if she plays tennis, a homedic foot spa, some DVDs, a watch, a vanity plate for her car, dinner at a trendy restaurant?
Reply:lol, i agree with the first three, of course. And not knowing anything else about your relationship makes this difficult, but maybe a romantic night in (you cook dinner, candles, music) or perhaps something she would never expect, say......

A hot air balloon ride at dusk, or a wagon drawn ride through the country (not THE country, you know, IN the country) or perhaps take her to see a show (not a movie, a show. at a theater).

If she%26#039;s special to you, and you are special to her, chances are that she would REALLY enjoy making a memory with you that she can always cherish....
Reply:you can never go wrong with diamonds ..
Reply:How do you feel about jewelry? Are charm bracelets in style? You can buy a nice bracelet and add charms for special occasions- birthdays, holidays, etc.

Does she have any hobbies? You can buy gifts to support her hobbies (knitting, sewing?)

You can gather gifts (theme) and put them in a nice basket- like a relaxation basket- bubble bath, CDs, a sleep mask, etc.

Just a few ideas.
Reply:Money or gift cards always work...
Reply:Give a gift card of your own design that says %26quot;One free day to do whatever YOU want to do.%26quot;
Reply:One gift that I always love to recieve and make is gift baskets. They are both affordable and personal. It shows that person that you took enough time to really think about them and your relationship and make something special just for them. All you need is a basket (any size, you probably have one around the house), shredded paper (to fill the basket), the clear wrap (to cover the basket) and a pretty bow to put on top. All this stuff can be found at dollar tree.

Here%26#039;s some things u can put inside(most can be found at your local dollar tree or wal-mart)

- a picture of you two in a cute frame

- a mix cd of her favorite songs (or love songs)

- her favorite candy

- a stuffed animal

- a handwritten love note or poem

- perfume

- body wash, lotion, etc.

- a blank scrapbook to fill with pictures from your relationship

- a newspaper from the day you got together

- jewelery

- something that relates to her hobbies

Hope this helps! and good luck. Im sure she will appreciate anything you give her.
Reply:Money is good. Please send a money order though so I can cash it easier.
Reply:chocolates, shopping sprees
Reply:Okay here ya go..%26gt;=)

*jewelry,.... earrings,necklaces,bracelets,ankle chain,toe rings etc..

*Personal,.......character slippers,robe,billfold,cute socks,hair accessories,scented candles,journal book, photo albums

*Decor,.....cool clock, cool wall mirror, poster of fav. band

or animal, cute pillows to put on bed, alarm clock

*Versatile,......comforter bed cover or quilt, tee shirt with saying or logo on it, CD%26#039;s ,DVD%26#039;s, gift card to fav. store
Reply:A gift from the heart!!! What about a bracelet engraved with the words %26quot;I Love You%26quot; or a bracelet with her name on it? Or what about a picture of the two of you in a frame? The best gift idea would be to make a CD for her of music that you both enjoy listening too. You could add music to the CD that reminds you of her. If you both share a song together you could add that to the CD too. Gifts from the heart are the best!!

Anyone know any good gifts to buy for a girl...just because...other than flowers?

Any one have any good suggestions...trying to keep it to about 40 - 50 bucks.

Anyone know any good gifts to buy for a girl...just because...other than flowers?
They always think stuffed animals are cute. There are those pajama gram commercials (but I don%26#039;t know how much those cost). Chocolates can be tricky. If she always thinks she has weight issues, or is dieting, stay away. Clothes are tough too. If you get those sizes wrong, either too big (%26quot;you think I%26#039;m fat%26quot;) or too small (%26quot;you want me to be thinner%26quot;) you are in the dog house. If you%26#039;re strapped for cash, sing to her. You don%26#039;t have to do a good job or have a golden voice, as long as you put some effort into it. She%26#039;ll think it%26#039;s sweet. If singing%26#039;s not your thing, cook for her. For 40 - 50 bucks you can make a really spectacular, candle lit meal. If you don%26#039;t know how to cook, call mom or watch a cooking show. Make sure you know what she does and doesn%26#039;t eat though. Romance can sometimes be the only light in the darkness of confusion. Can%26#039;t go wrong.
Reply:how old is she, and what is she like? what about some nice perfume, if you like the smell its probably good and you can get a bottle for like 50 bucks... but then again not all girls wear perfume.

Cleo, my dear ...

I would say that everyday should be our day as we do so much to keep things running properly, be it at home, schools or any other type of work. Even more for us, working moms who have a triple journey - work, home and husband/children ... but do we get accounted for all that? I know, I don%26#039;t.

I did work on that day and did not see so many celebrations around (I wished a happy women%26#039;s day to some other women), so I think people didn%26#039;t value that day as they should have, specially the men ... But we know our value, don%26#039;t we?

I am seprated from my wife for 5 months, valentine day is coming...Should I give my wife flowers and gift?

We are Muslim marriage couple, should I give my wife flowers and gift after 5 months no gifts to her and on valentine day should I give her flowers and gift.

What do you think? Advice?

I am seprated from my wife for 5 months, valentine day is coming...Should I give my wife flowers and gift?
Are you looking to get back together with her? Then yes, get her something. If you aren%26#039;t looking to reconcile, I wouldn%26#039;t.
Reply:That will depend on your relationship that you have with her now? If you have intentions of getting back together or are still in love, then I say its perfectly fine. But its just Valentines Day, to some its just a day when the retail stores make their money, or a day when teenagers get to give flowers or cards to someone who they hope to one day have.
Reply:Quite simply, yes.

It may not do any good but if you have affections for her and want to give her a gift, do.

good luck

fs
Reply:No, that is not the way to fix a marriage. You fix a marriage by talking and figuring out what you both need to do to make the marriage work. Flowers and gifts at the point that you are in is quite silly. Fix your marriage first then buy her gifts from the heart........
Reply:If you want to get back together then it%26#039;s a good start.
Reply:if in your heart you WANT to see her smile that day, then DO IT!

and more power to you if you do, because I think you still love her, otherwise you wouldn%26#039;t even ask this question.

That%26#039;s a beautiful thang.
Reply:depends if she ran off with a buddist
Reply:Yes, if you want to and she will accept them.
Reply:What Lizzie said.
Reply:I agree with the thought that if you want to reconcile with your wife getting her a gift for valentine%26#039;s day would be a good idea.

Good luck!
Reply:yeah if you love her why not?

after all she is your wife and you promised to spend the rest of your lives together
Reply:That%26#039;s if you still love her but if you do send her a dozen of roses and a gift and offer her a night out like the movies or dinner and don%26#039;t talk about why you broke up just enjoy each others company

Reply:Well it really depends on if you want the divorce or do you want to get back together, either way you could send her a little something just to let her know you are remembering her but be careful as you don%26#039;t want to give her mixed signals or any false hopes if you have no plans on reconciling.
Reply:Are you wanting to get back with her. If so, yes. If not, no.
Reply:yes you can tell her that even though we are separated i still care about you
Reply:Yes, she is still your wife. Do something nice for her to show her you care about her.
Reply:yes both.. make her feel special and i%26#039;m sure she%26#039;s secretly hopeing you will remember her especially after separation and show her you want her back.

doing something nice and loving for someone has nothing to do with religion.
Reply:if you still get along with her and still have feelings for why not
Reply:That would be really nice of you...
Reply:If you want a reconciliation, then it%26#039;s worth giving her a small present. But if you aren%26#039;t certain about that, then don%26#039;t confuse her and so avoid giving her anything for Valentine%26#039;s.

Yes do it. For sure. It would let her know there is hope.
Reply:i think that that might be a nice gesture on your part. :) i sure she wouldnt be upset to recieve that from you and it might make her feel nice. I think it would be nice. something simple.
Reply:I would have to say no, you are getting ready to send her mixed signals especially if this is not part of your plan to work things out between the two of you.

Good intentions, but think about what this will mean to her.
Reply:its something you want to do not what we think you should but since you are thinking about it it will not hurt will it? why not
Reply:if you still love her and would wish to still be together then yes, do what your heart tells you. you wont get her back unless you dont put some effort in.

or if there%26#039;s a chance you may reconcile, then yes do it.!!

however, if you dont actually wish to be together, then leave well alone- you dont need to pretend, if you dont feel that way, or dont feel obliged just if she%26#039;s upset etc, you cant give her false hope.

im not sure that made any sense, goodnite. bit late.
Reply:Please don%26#039;t give her anything unless you have an intention of reconciliation if you aren%26#039;t getting back together don%26#039;t. she will get the wrong idea and then get her feelings hurt and i am sure that you don%26#039;t want to hurt her feelings.
Reply:I do not guess that it would hurt anything if the two of you are still on good terms. Giving a few flowers never hurt anyone. I wouldn%26#039;t go all out and buy dozens of flowers but a single red rose would be nice.
Reply:depends on how close the two of you are. if you want to, do it. are you wanting to get back together?

maybe just a card.

...a gift and flowers, are nice...

...enjoy!
Reply:yes give her as you say it well be kind sensaton from you to one you had spend with her many nice times .this may be return love in heart of both of you
Reply:I dont know if you beat her or threatened to kill her or something but yes, send her some flowers, not a package, she might think its a bomb.
Reply:Is it your wish to reconsile with your wife? If it is, you need to show her that you want to be with her and are ready to set aside your differences and try to make your marriage work. If not, do nothing.
Reply:I do not know why you are seperated from her therefore I cannot advise you if it would be creepy or not.
Reply:Give her your love. What better gift. Valentines is actually based on Saint Valentine. I believe he was put in prison, but still married people through the jail bars. I am Christian and you are muslim, but love is still love! Give her your heart. Ask God to forgive you. Then you forgive yourself (we are not perfect) forgive yourself. Then forgive her. The past is the past. Your time is now! Give her your true honest white heart.
Reply:No. Not if you are actually separated. If you are just in different parts of the world, but not emotionally separated, then you definately should give her something. You are emotionally separated, giving her something will be seen as a desperate attempt to get her back and probably annoy her very badly so would have the opposite intended effect and only make things worse.
Reply:Somali,

My wife really would prefer to have chocolate or something to eat over flowers. She gets upset when they die. I would send her a nice birthday card and write a nice little message inside telling her how you feel about her. The nicest things sometimes are unexpected. Have a wonderful evening. I hope that things all work out.

Thanks,

Eds

Reply:why not hunt her down and cut off her feet. She will burn in hell for leaving you, and Allah will be so proud of you for it.

You will find other women to be your sex slave and servant soon enough. You could stone her as well. Heck the whole nieborhood%26#039;s male membership will be glad to help.
Reply:have you before given gifts /flowers on other valentine days? and you still in love with your wife, does see speak to you in the 5 months? it could be unwanted by your wife. also it might show her that you still think about her and she may see it as a sign to get back together. if that%26#039;s what you want then go for it.
Reply:Send her flowers if you still care for her.
Reply:depends on why you where separated.

If you want to get back together and you think she will appreciate the gift, then by all means yes. Otherwise no.

depending on how strict a Muslim she is, you might like to note that Valentines Day is a Catholic custom, and so she might misinterpret that if she is not accustomed to that tradition.

whatever you do, follow your heart
Reply:I would call her first to see how she is and see if there is hope of a reconcilliation. If she responds favorably then yes buy the flowers and gift and good luck.
Reply:Move on. The best gift for both of you.
Reply:If you ever want to be with her again, you%26#039;d better.
Reply:Why not? It may or may not have your desired effect, though. Be prepared for whatever reaction she may have.
Reply:buy her a tarsier, if that doesnt work i dont know what will.

Alot of factors.....Ultimately up to you to answer.........

Wedding flowers?

I had to laugh about the $400,000 law suit that the couple wanted for their wedding glowers not being the correct color.

I%26#039;m guessing they were not into the wedding. Who cares about the color of the flowers. Eyes should be on the couple. I think they should of made the flowers gifts, after all spending that much on them is sorta odd to me.

They should of just had an outdoors wedding with natural colors.

There is a reason we all don%26#039;t get what we want. I think in their case its to learn about indulgence.

What do you think?

Wedding flowers?
I did not spend anywhere near that amount for my wedding flowers but I wanted the flowers I paid for. True the focus of the wedding is the bride and groom and the love story.

But there is such a thing as legally binding contracts for goods and services.
Reply:While I do agree it is stupid and ridiculous, I am not surprised. It is the American way. Sue and sue some more. Even American lawyers have malpractice lawsuits.;)

BUT, to be fair, think about it this way.

You are a couple who has paid for a specific service. You may have paid thousands of dollars. If it is true that the color of the flowers was completely different than what was ordered, then it is a breech of contract, no matter what. At the very least, the bride should have been told her wants couldn%26#039;t be met.

Now, I would not sue over flower colors, but I am not surprised to hear this. I can see this happening in this day and age where couples blow $20,000 on centrepieces.

People need to get out of their bubble and see the REAL problems this world has.
Reply:I totally agree with the first poster....

While the coupel did have a contract and were wronged in the sense of that contract it does highlight a bigger issue.

Specifically that in today%26#039;s world people seem obsessed about the flashyness of weddings. How many wedding%26#039;s you%26#039;ve been to more than 3 or 4 months ago can you remember the centerpieces for?.....how about the specifics of the night like decorations?....What the invitations looked like?

Many of these things cost the couple major moola, and hours were spent agonizing over millions of choices, but few are remembered.

It%26#039;s more important not to lose site of the fact that the day is about your life together with another person and not who has the biggest centerpiece :).
Reply:right on.

Is flowers the right gift for the newly wed on the wedding day or shud I get something more.?

I mean is it the APPROPRAITE gift.....FLOWERS. HELP...

Is flowers the right gift for the newly wed on the wedding day or shud I get something more.?
I would say no. The bride already has flowers. Get something else.
Reply:Flowers usually figure in the ceremony, so often flowers could get lost in the decorations. It may depend on your situation. Many couples create registries to help people know what they want. If you don%26#039;t have a lot to spend, something handmade or personal may be the way to go. Try asking a member of the wedding party, if you are close enough to know them. A discreet parent of the couple can also be a great help. Good hunting.
Reply:something more flowers arent a good gift and everyone will think you brought something with the flowers! Something they can use is better silverwear plates clothes etc

Which are better gifts to the woman one loves; chocolates or flowers?

Don%26#039;t give me tips, why you think so or any other answer; I just need you good people%26#039;s choice =)

(debate competition)

Which are better gifts to the woman one loves; chocolates or flowers?
Flowers. I say that because some girls don%26#039;t like eating sweets because girls tend to worry about their weight a lot, so I%26#039;d go with flowers because flowers for some reason make girls happy plus their something they can show off to their friends lol. Flowers show that you%26#039;re willing to spend money too.
Reply:Personally, I feel that chocolates and flowers should never be the main gift for your partner. They should be complements to the main gift, not the main gift itself. It%26#039;s like how a dinner should not be a gift for your partner, but icing on the cake.

However, if I absolutely have to choose one, flowers.
Reply:Actually, flowers go with chocolates and vice versa as gifts for a woman whom you love, but since you gave me a choice, flowers may serve the purpose better, especially if they are red roses, flowers signify sweetness and passion, love and loyalty, yes they may wither in time but still they can serve as a collection too and may be dried as an artwork and everytime you see them, they will remind you of the important day.....while chocolates can be eaten so the memories go with it too, maybe you can just keep the wrapper as a memento on that special day.otherwise, for a woman, besides flowers , chocolates, you can present her books, novelty items such as bracelts, necklaces, any art work,or perfumes....ok? good luck in your debate....

What are some other good gifts to buy my wife to show her that I care other than flowers under say $25 or so?

I have been buying my wife flowers every week for about a month now. I have noticed that she is a diffrent person since I started this. It a very good $10 dollar a week %26quot;investment%26quot; lol. She say she feels loved more when she gets them. I%26#039;m afraid they are becoming %26quot;old hat%26quot; What else could I buy her with/instead of the flowers?

What are some other good gifts to buy my wife to show her that I care other than flowers under say $25 or so?
Things that she might like to use. For instance a really nice album for pics of your two favorite people %26quot;mommy %26amp; baby%26quot;. Take pics and put them in the album for her. Something to make her life easier in the kitchen. Appliances. There is jewelry available for under 25 bucks at most discount stores that are not investments but can give the sweet message that you are thinking of her. Prepare meals for her. Help around the house. Let her pamper herself. Get her a gift certificate to get her nails done one afternoon. Tell her how you feel about her in a letter.
Reply:Maybe a small bottle of perfume or a box of candy...or maybe a little stuffed animal or sentimental book.
Reply:Pedicure!
Reply:Abox of candy, an inexpensive piece of jewelry, a book by an author she loves, her favorite perfume
Reply:To ME... it%26#039;s not how much $$ you spend, but what you do w/ the time you have together...

Great idea to have the dinner ready when she%26#039;s not expecting it, w/ a clean kitchen to boot! Afterwards-- give her time to unwind.

Bubblebath: set the scene w/ a great scented bubble bath, and candles. It%26#039;s not for the both of you, it%26#039;s for HER (unless, of course, she invites you to join her).

Laundry: who usually does this? Even if you assist when not expected (and don%26#039;t mention you did it) that%26#039;s a BIG WOW in my book! Same w/ other misc chores. Just helping when not in the norm is a huge %26quot;i love you%26quot; gesture.

Leave her little LOVE notes in places she won%26#039;t expect them, attach a Hersheys Kiss. On her pillow, on the table next to her keys, next to her toothbrush, etc. The more you do for her, the more it will be reciprocated. It *MUST* be from the heart though.
Reply:A night at home....for her to do nothing and you to cater to her. Cook supper, clean, fix her a fancy bath with scented water/bubble bathe. Give her a foot rub afterwards.
Reply:Stop at a Hallmark store and start buying her little figurines or if she has a certain thing that seems to bring her some happiness ( my wife likes snowmen, now we have a village ) buy her someting small like that that you know she will enjoy and can become a display for her.
Reply:Women love things that are ment for them. It lets them know they are being thought of. Write her a poem about the week and the beautiful things you%26#039;ve noticed about her. I%26#039;m sure she%26#039;d like this a lot. Or, you could cook a dinner for her. Also you can set aside that day for the two of you to just cuddle. It%26#039;s not hard to please a woman and I%26#039;m sure anything you do will be loved.
Reply:You could make her something.. Like you make her a collage aka scrapbook pages. of things you have done together, etc.. if you have kids you can buy kits (handprint kit, stone makers, etc) I don%26#039;t beleive they cost that much to make, everything is include in the kits....

you can make her a video of all the pictures/places you have been... You can take her out to a nice dinner.... Chocolates..yummy...
Reply:Bring home dinner sometime so she doesn%26#039;t have to make it.

Arrange a pedicure or manicure and the time to go to it. (beauty schools are inexpensive and do a great job.)

Arrange a babysitter while you are at work so she can go do something by herself.
Reply:give her a copy of this poem, framed:

by e. e. cummings

i carry your heart with me (i carry it in

my heart) i am never without it (anywhere

i go you go, my dear; and whatever is done

by only me is your doing, my darling)

i fear

no fate (for you are my fate, my sweet) i want

no world (for beautiful you are my world, my true)

and it%26#039;s you are whatever a moon has always meant

and whatever a sun will always sing is you

here is the deepest secret nobody knows

(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud

and the sky of the sky of a tree called life; which grows

higher than soul can hope or mind can hide)

and this is the wonder that%26#039;s keeping the stars apart

i carry your heart (i carry it in my heart)
Reply:Gift certificate for a manicure with a small note saying you want to take care of the hands that take care of you.

You don%26#039;t really have to spend a lot of money or buy gifts. Try taking her to the video store, tell her she can pick out any movie.... then watch it with her.

How about a blank book (you can find them at the book stores) and you write in the first page. Write your feelings about her. She can use the rest of the book to write her own thoughts/feelings or keep track of family memories.

Make arrangements for the kids to go somewhere for the evening or the night. Get a bottle of champion and a pizza. Don%26#039;t turn the tv on.
